Kapela Strada Trio brings the sounds of Italian Musica Popolare to America through lively melodies, dance tunes, and elegant arrangements. Led by Chicago-born Italian American musician Connor Marks, the trio draws from the regional traditions of Southern Italy as well as the repertoire carried to America by generations of Italian immigrants. Featuring Neapolitan mandolin, violin, piano accordion, classical guitar, and tamburello, Kapela Strada Trio offers an energetic and authentic celebration of Italian musical heritage.
