The amount of money Festa Italiana North Carolina has donated to local charities since 2018!
Festa Italiana North Carolina, a designated 501(c)(3), is chartered to promote the Italian culture via an annual festival highlighting our music, food, and art. The event also serves as a philanthropic vehicle with the majority of net proceeds to be donated to designated local charities.

ALS United NC
ALS United® is a community dedicated to supporting those affected by Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). They provide hope, resources, and meaningful support to individuals and families affected by this devastating disease. At ALS United®, they believe in the power of unity and the strength that comes from working together towards a common goal.
Festa Italiana NC board and chairs presented a check for $10,000—the amount raised from the seventh annual Festa Italiana—to the Meg’s Smile Foundation in November 2025.
In Memoriam
Like so many families, our Festa Italiana family suffered a terrible loss at the end of 2021 when one of our chosen charity recipients, Military Missions in Action, lost its Executive Director and Founder, Mike Dorman, to COVID-19.
Mike, pictured second from left, was an enthusiastic supporter of our mission to provide needed funds to our community. He assisted Festa with several events, including Festa Italiana 2019 and 2021, and never shied away from getting his hands dirty.
We offer our sincerest condolences to the Dorman family and Military Missions In Action. We pledge our steadfast support for 2022 as they will again be one of our chosen charities.
